Extracurricular activities are those activities that are not the components of the academic curriculum but an integral part of the educational environment.

Co-curricular activity means an activity or program that takes place outside of the traditional classroom but in some manner complements academic learning from classroom curriculum. These activities are ungraded and do not allow for academic credit to be earned; however, they provide many advantages to students academically and in skill development.

The role of co-curricular activities in every student’s life is essential. It helps a student flourish in multiple areas of development in a well-structured way.

The mission of this programme is to

  • Improves academic performance of government school children by fueling learning, stimulating creative thought, and building passion in particular subjects.

  • Enhancing social skills, which are important skills to build for college, career, and life in general.

  • To provide students with a chance to build friendships.

  • To promote a positive outlook towards school and future study through an increase in a sense of community at school.

  • To imbibe  time management and organizational skills.

  • To  improve confidence and self-esteem through developing proficiency in a particular area.
